Terms & Conditions
Last modified 06th April 2020
There are no refunds on products brought through this site, this includes therapy via Zoom, Skype or FaceTime.
If you have paid for a Zoom, Skype or FaceTime appointment in advance and decide you do not want to go through therapy, I will only be able to return 50% of your payment. Your appointment space has been reserved for you and part payment is for preparation and time lost.
When appointments in person or via Skype or FaceTime are missed, 50% will be charged if 48 hours notice is not given for a cancellation or none-arrival. You probably have a very good reason for not being able to attend your appointment and so the full fee is not charged, however, your appointment space has been reserved for you and so a contribution of 50% is requested before any further appointments will be booked.
A full refund may be given if you decide to cancel with more than 48 hours notice, less 10% admin fee.
If you cancel your treatment course and without a minimum of 48 hours notice and you do not wish to book any more appointments, then only 90% of your payment will be refunded (10% admin fee).
When appointments in person or Zoom meetings are missed, you will be asked if you would like to book another appointment.
If you would like to book another appointment date, there will be a fee of £37.50.
If you decide not to attend any other dates then we will only be able to return remaining outstanding balance of your payment less 10% admin fee.
3. Late or early arrival
If you arrive early please wait for your appointment time before calling, an early arrival might interfere with a preceding client’s therapy or interrupt the therapist’s recovery and preparation time. If late for an appointment, your therapist will attempt to offer the best possible service within the time left. However, the appointment will end at the agreed time with no adjustment to the fee.
All communication taking place during therapy is confidential, subject to certain provisions; therapists are not at liberty to withhold information from the police. Your therapist is required to inform the authorities if there is a possibility that you or a member of the public is at risk. It is considered to be confidential if an NHS professional requires information to be able to help you. Parts of your conversation may be referred to during supervision, a requirement for registered therapists, although your name or any identifying details would not be disclosed.
5. GDPR/Data protection act
Therapists are required to keep your details on file for seven years, they may be kept on hard copy or computer, this information will be kept secure, as per NCH guidelines on client security. The client is entitled to a copy of these details whilst kept by the therapist, in accordance with the Data Protection Act/GDPR, there is a charge of £20 per copy for this service.
There are a number of complex factors influencing the success of individual therapy and, whilst benefits are typically observed in the majority of cases, there can be no guarantees of success or cure in relation to a condition or its treatment.
Ed Francis Hypnotherapy reserves the right to cancel or postpone an appointment if there are circumstances beyond our control. 50% of your payment will be returned should you decide not to return to therapy.
